When we look back to motion pictures of the previous year, one thing we are sure of – movies and music got along perfect in 2013. Since we love making top lists and charts, here are our Top 10 Movie Soundtracks of 2013. If you haven’t seen the movies from the list, do it as soon as possible and, more important, pay attention to the music!
1 – Inside Llewyn Davis
With the help of T Bonne Burnett, the Coen Brothers again succeeded in making old-time music cool. What we especially like:

2 – The Sapphires
This lovely indie movie is based on a true story following four girls from Australia forming a band. They toured around Vietnam to entertain soldiers during the war. What we especially like:

3 – Gravity
This epic movie simply needed an equally epic soundtrack. Steven Price composed astonishing instrumentals that perfectly illustrate the peacefulness of Cosmos. What we specially like:

4 – Frozen
Disney always seems to find the right way to our hearts and this time Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell really helped us to fall in love with Frozen. What we especially like:

5 – The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Ben Stiller just can’t help it – he has to bring sappy and comedic moments into any film. But, music is also great! What we especially like:

- Jack Johnson – Escape
6 – 12 Years a Slave
This historical drama is the Golden Globe Winner and it won 3 Oscars (the best Motion Picture of the Year and music might be just one of the reasons. What we especially like:

7 – Mud
The soundtrack of this lovely adventure drama is there to reflect the strong sense of hopefulness that interweaves the narrative. What we especially like:
- David Wingo – Tom Blankenship

8 – The Great Gatsby
No matter you like the movie, an impressive lineup is yielded for The Great Gatsby soundtrack. What we especially like:
- Jack White – Love is Blindness

9 – Frances Ha
This movie is Big Apple’s answer to “Amelie” and its soundtrack reflects every little thing we should love about the protagonist. What we especially like:

10 – The Place Beyond the Pines
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling playing Romina and Luke, young people with a broken relationship and a three-month-old son struggling financial issues. Mike Patton wrote the original score for this movie and it just cannot be forgotten. What we especially like:
