Predictions of Academy Award Nominations

"Oscarstatues"At the crack of dawn tomorrow, the nomination for this year’s Oscars will be announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. There will be many talented people packing up their event clothes and avoiding phone calls afterwards. Tomorrow by brunch, the area will look small comparatively. We will get back to you folks about that after a while, but let’s see some of the prediction for nominations now.

Best Motion Picture Nominations: Hugo, Midnight in Paris, Moneyball, The Help, The Artist, The Descendants, Bridesmaids, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Tree of Life.

After the voting of the Producers Guild of America on Saturday, “The Artist” was in first place. The actual question is, how many movies will get nominated anyways? Five or Ten?

Nominees for Best performance by an actress: Viola Davis for “The Help”, Maryl Streep for “The Iron lady”, Rooney Mara for “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”, Michelle Williams for “My Week with Marilyn”, Tilda Swinton for “We Need to Talk about Kevin”. Meryl Streep wond the Golden Globe award for drama, Williams got it for comedy.

Nominees for best performance by an actor: Leonardo Di Caprio for “J Edgar”, Brad Pitt for “Moneyball”, George Clooney for “The Descendants”. Jean Dujardin for “The Artist”, Michael Fassbender for ‘Shame”. George Clooney won the Golden Globe this time.
